It's going on a year since I released my first mashup, so I figured I'm due for another. My Jay-Z and Nine Inch Nails mashup garnered some fairly positive feedback, so I'm hoping my latest mashup will turn an ear or two as well.

This time around, rather than crossing genres like I did last time, I've stuck with the rap genre and have paired one of the greatest rappers of all time, The Notorious B.I.G., with the greatest rap producer of all time, Dr. Dre. The result is:

Dead Wrong (Bernzilla Mashup)

If you're a fan of rap music, and especially if you're a fan of those two artists, I'd recommend giving it a listen and letting me know what you think. If you're not into rap or you're not a big fan of NSFW lyrics, it's probably not a bad idea to pass this time around.

For more information on where the lyrics and music come from, respectively, head on over to YouTube or check out the track listing of 2001.

Nice work Bernie. Not as much of a stretch as your Jay-Z/NIN mash, but still pretty good overall. Kinda makes me wonder what sort of reaction the East/West Coast sets would have had if this was done back at the height of the rivalry.

Thanks, Mike. I definitely think I'll get a little more creative with my next mashup.
