I got a chance to play around with GarageBand tonight, and I have to say, it's pretty darn cool. I spent a couple hours figuring out how it works and playing around with the various instruments and sounds you can download, and in the process I recorded a song. It's short, kind of ambient, and I decided to name it "Aloft." You can download it from here if you'd like to take a listen:

If you do have a listen, please let me know what you think. And if you're into making music and haven't played around with GarageBand yet, you're missing out.

I love the track, nicely done!

I don't own a Mac yet, but when I get one I will be more inclined to use GarageBand now. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks, Zim and Matt. I'm borrowing the Mac, but GarageBand makes me not want to give it back. ;)
