Ben Goodger has an excellent little rant on his weblog about making a good sales pitch on a website, and more specifically how the current Mozilla.org website fails to do so. While his views are aimed directly at the failures of the Mozilla site, his recommendations for improvements could easily be applied to websites in many different arenas.

Equally exciting, though, is his mention of "Aviary 1.0," which, according to the comments on Ben's site, will be the official coming-together of the Mozilla *Bird applications to replace (or become) the Mozilla Application Suite. For those of you who don't see the relation between the word "aviary" and such an occurrence, see the following definition (it helped me):
