Right before I caught the final episode ever of Sex and the City tonight (and not just because my girlfriend is obsessed with it – I actually wanted to watch it), HBO teased me to no end with another long trailer for the upcoming season of The Sopranos. There are so many tasty morsels in the trailer that I don't even know where to begin. The fact that Steve Buscemi is joining the season 5 cast is more than enough to get me salivating about the March 7th opener.

However, there was more teasing. Right before that trailer aired, I saw a few quick flashes of another preview of some sort. By the second flash, which had a shot of a crow in it, I knew I was in for a preview of the next season of Six Feet Under. Now, I don't know if HBO was trying to give me a heart attack or not, but they almost succeeded. If there has been anything I have missed over the past year it has been watching Six Feet Under and The Sopranos, so seeing teasers for both new seasons in succession was surreal. I'm not sure how they'll stack up, but since Six Feet Under is slated to begin airing in June, I'm guessing it will start up right as The Sopranos comes to a close. Sounds good to me.

Now, if only they'd say that a new season of K Street was on the horizon, I think I'd have to pinch myself to prove I hadn't arrived in TV heaven.
