Mitchell Baker has written an article over at Mozilla.org called "Browser Innovation, Gecko and the Mozilla Project." In my opinion it should have been called "A Comparison Between Camino (formerly Chimera) and Safari," but whatever. The important thing to note is that it touches on the importance of open source web browsers in the push for a standard web. I'd definitely like to try out Camino and Safari, but I sure wish I didn't have to use a Mac to do so. The article is informative and read-worthy, nonetheless, so if you have any interest in web browsers you should check it out.

Mostly I use Safari, but I'm trying Camino right now. Sometimes I also use Firefox, and I happen to have IE and Opera installed too.
So far I don't see what makes Camino any better than the standard version of Firefox. And for the most part I prefer Safari anyway.
So that's just one random person's opinion.

I've been using camino over safari. Considering that I am running Mac OS 10.2.8 and apple will not release a safari update for an OS that is not even 2 yrs old, just to make us upgrade. So the version of safari I am running is an earlier version, but camino smokes safari in both speed and elegance. It has a GUI that incorporates well into Apple's Aqua interface and is simple to use.
