I awoke to the sound of my dog whimpering this morning. As is par for the course, I assumed she needed to go out back to do her thing. Not a minute later, though, I felt my bed begin to shake very quickly for about two seconds. Having experienced a few earthquakes in the past, my only explanation for what I had just felt was either a small (3 or 4) earthquake or maybe a larger explosion from Mount St. Helens. I've yet to confirm either at this point, but I'm banking on the former. I did find it interesting, though, to read that Japan has been hit by some big earthquakes over the past 24 hours.

Update: There was no earthquake, so apparently I'm just losing it.

In Taiwan we had a fair wobble on Saturday night. Maybe what you heard was just an exageration of this?
