I received my first spam email in Gmail today, nearly 6 months after creating my account. The good news is, Gmail correctly recognized it as spam and put it in the spam folder. The bad news is, it looks like people out there are now using Gmail addresses as their fake outgoing email addresses. The message I received was actually a Delivery Status Notification message to be returned to "Stanley Laurel" (sound familiar?) at my Gmail address.
