Apparently my disdain for the new Netscape Browser is shared by several others around the web. While Alex Bishop (for MozillaZine) takes a more conservative approach, several others including rakaz, Jeremy Flint and Steve at error 404 state that the new browser is "simply horrific," uglier than Opera, and made up of "garbage that most users don't really need," respectively.

Luckily for all of us, hecklers and non-hecklers alike, there is still that other browser that we've come to know and love, and it is doing very well. For anyone interested, Scot's Newsletter has a very informative and in-depth review of Firefox, including a long list of pros and cons broken up into several distinct categories. Whether you tend to agree with his opinions or not, it's a worthy read.

Where's the "Gecko Inside" logo? I don't think that campaign is in place yet, but it's irritating to see tabbed browsing labeled a "Netscape feature."
