Well, it certainly has been a while. It took something like A huge partnership between Microsoft and AOL, the apparent end of Netscape (and maybe even Internet Explorer?) to get me out of hibernation. Is this some crazy stuff or what?

Rest assured you'll be hearing more from me in the near future on at least a few of these topics. If there's anything that excites me it's browser news, I just wish in this case it had more to do with the advancement of innovation than the demise of it. I think the most negative effect of this cause would be the downfall or even slowing down of Mozilla development. It would suck to see them go the way of hammer pants just weeks after announcing a major migration from the monster Mozilla suite to the more lean and mean Phoenix/Firebird. We'll just have to see what happens...

Another thing that helped awaken me from my slumber was seeing my own blog show up on the 2nd page of search results for a Google search of "css3 box model select", after going on quite arduously about how excited I am at the thought of the option's implementation across the board. On a related note, I cast my vote for the implemenation of CSS3 in Safari over at David Hyatt's blog. We'll have to see what happens in that arena, too.
