Be careful not to let all the latest Seamonkey hooplah cloud the important goings-on in Firefox/Mozilla land. Ben Goodger just announced and displayed some of the progress that has been made on the Software Update functionality of Firefox 1.1, aka "Deer Park." Binary diffing is going to make the whole process a lot smoother for all users.

As if that wasn't cool enough, Mike Connor has just announced that tab reordering has landed and should make its way into Firefox 1.1. This is something that has been bothering me more and more of late in Firefox 1.0.x, so it's exciting to see that moving tabs around will be possible in the next major release.

I actually haven't made the move to the 1.1 builds yet, but given the slew of new features slated for the "Deer Park" release, I have a feeling I will be making that move very, very soon.

If you want tab reordering now, install the miniT extension.
