In an article at News.com today called Ring tones that bite and zing, the following caught my eye:

Some traditional ring tones have become so commonplace that birds in Denmark, Germany and Finland are said to be mimicking them in their songs.

That is pretty crazy.

I was playing golf at a local community college back a few years ago and was preparing to tee off on the 18th when a cell phone kept ringing...and ringing...and ringing. It turned out to be a mockingbird in the tree overhead. I couldn't stop laughing even while hitting and shanked it left.
