Warning: This blog entry was written two or more years ago. Therefore, it may contain broken links, out-dated or misleading content, or information that is just plain wrong. Please read on with caution.

They say imitation's the sincerest form of flattery, but I'm still not sure what to think about Browser World. When I first saw the site and noticed a couple of my blog entries reproduced word-for-word, I thought, okay I must be looking at something like Robert Scoble's Link Blog. However, then I clicked on the about me tab and saw the following:

My foremost interests include computers (obviously), music, poetry and sports (mostly basketball and football).

If you've never read my About Bernie section (don't worry, I don't blame you if you haven't), it contains that very sentence, word-for-word, under "Personal Interests."

I've had my design hijacked before, but never a combination of my content and my identity. I'm not sure what to think. Something sure seems fishy, though.

Yes that's a good point but....
How do we know *you're* not the imposter!

j/k... that's very weird indeed!

I went to check out the site... and it worked for about 3 minutes, then I began getting "redirection limit exceeded" messages, and nothing loaded at all, not even the base domain, wordpress.com.

I've had multiple entire posts hijacked from my blog before, usually by sites that pretend to be blogs whose purpose is to get people to click on ads to gnerate revenue. In the three inutes I had to see the site, this looked almost exactly like that (ie, nots of nonsense), but without the ads.

Strange.
