While checking out the new layout over at tonight, I came across The Seven Deadly Sins of Blogging. It's quite an interesting read if you're thinking about starting a blog yourself, and I'd have to say I agree with most of the points. In fact, I think I avoid the listed sins pretty well here at my own blog, for the most part. I could probably use a little work in the "not posting regularly" and "being the jack of all trades" areas, but that's not so bad.

That's my own interpretation, though. I'd love to hear feedback from any readers out there. Am I doing a good job of keeping you interested, or am I jumping around the radar too often (e.g. blogging about Internet Explorer one day and Curb Your Enthusiasm the next)? Are there topics I've covered here in the past that you'd like to see covered in more depth? Do I beat around the bush too much for you, or am I being too terse (I'd bet on the former, but who knows)?

There are some bloggers who take the "take it or leave it" approach to blogging, and I think there is something to be said for that, but I'm not a strict follower of that policy. Feeling like people are interested in what I have to say makes me want to blog more and to be a better blogger overall. And that, in my opinion, should make this a more interesting place for you and for me.
