First off, happy belated Thanksgiving to everybody!

Mine was good. My girlfriend's brother and his wife were gracious enough to invite us down to stuff our faces down in Portland, and stuff our faces we did!

The highlight of the trip, though, had to be playing Project Gotham Racing 3 on her brother's newly purchased Premium Xbox 360. They just bought a new HD TV too, so needless to say it was a pretty intense experience.

As I've mentioned here before, I hadn't planned on picking up a 360 of my own until Halo 4 comes out (half-kidding), but after playing PGR for just a couple of hours, it may be hard to resist for that long.

As impressive as the graphics are (and they are very, very impressive), I'd have to say that the things that impressed me the most about Microsoft's next generation console are the new wireless controller and the UI of the system menus. The controller fits in my hands perfectly (unlike the old Xbox controllers) and being able to get a little body language action going on without having to worry about cords is a huge plus. The system menus are logical, clean and sharp, and actually pretty to look at.

If you're reading this and you own an Xbox 360 of your own, I am very jealous. If you're reading this and you don't, I've heard a rumor that there's one up for sale.
