About a month or so ago I subscribed to the feed for the Inside Windows Live Messenger blog in an attempt to keep up with the latest developments of the next version of MSN Messenger. Tonight I unsubscribed.

Why, you ask? Because I can only take so many goats in a single blog post. Because I can't stand feeds that are updated so constantly that I can't track which posts I've read and which ones I haven't (when I say updated, I don't mean new posts being added, I mean the actual feed file being updated so my news reader has no idea what's going on). Because the writers there remind me of my mom's emails — smileys everywhere and way too much punctuation. Because some of their ideas just scare me. And finally, because I just don't care that much about MSN Messenger.

All is not lost, though. I replaced it with a subscription to the Yahoo! User Interface Blog.
