We lost another good friend yesterday.

We had to put our 6-years-young cat, Mischief (pronounced meese-cheef), to sleep due to kidney poisoning from a Lily flower.

Mischief and Roddy

If you'll remember, we lost our bulldog Roddy (shown in the background above) less than two months ago. So things have been tough, to say the least.

I still remember picking "Chief" up from the pound in the summer of 2000. He could fit in the palm of your hand. Little did we know then that one day he'd be a challenge to fit in both arms. He was a beautiful cat with a very dignified air about him. He will be (and already is) sorely missed.

I really feel for you guys. Our pets are our kids and we love them, I'm sure, as much as you love yours. I'm sure the feeling was mutual and I'm sure they were thankful for being in such a loving family and home.

Take care!

Bernie...I remember when you told us about Roddy. So sorry to hear about "Chief".
Hugs again to you both....
