As you know, I decided to go Pink for October along with a whole slew of other websites. It wasn't long after I had unveiled and announced the decision that I noticed a lot of referrals coming from http://5thirtyone.com/archives/670. Then, I got an email from Derek Punsalan pointing me to the Digg entry that doubtless helped generate a lot of the incoming traffic.

I was more than a little surprised to see that my pink creation had been chosen as one of the top ten Pink for October redesigns. It's definitely an honor to be included in that list, though, and as I told Derek, it's doubly an honor to be helping bring breast cancer awareness to the forefront, if even for just a month. Hopefully all of the pink impressions that have been made by the countless contributors across the web design community will echo into the months — or better yet, years — to come.
