Did anyone else notice the price of gas mysteriously drop right before the elections? Now that the elections are over, the price seems to be climbing steadily to where it used to be. What's up with that?

Repeat after me: Supply and Demand.

The republicans were going to steal the elections too, remember? Just like they did in 2000 and 2004.

Its not that I put anyone above having motives to manipulate gas prices and defraud the voting system to win elections -- I just don't believe the republicans -- or the democrats -- are capable of doing so.

Were I you, I would discard the conspiracy hat; it really isn't flattering.

Just my $0.02

Excuse me, it appears that republicans actually did steal the election!

I wasn't necessarily implying that the Republicans or Democrats were influencing the price of gas. I just found it very odd how election day seemed to be the fulcrum for the price shift.

Oh, and demand goes down in the winter, from what I hear.
