I came across some posts on Slashdot last week that caught my eye. Here's a quick rundown:

Did IE7 really break form input buttons of the image variety? If so, that's quite the flub.

I remember hearing about location-aware devices such as laptops and cameras over a year ago. Vicinity-based alerts and information are right up the alley of what I was talking about in The Future of History.

I'm looking forward to the day we put Captchas behind us. The idea of using Wikipedia as a source of corpora for semantic understanding is a promising step in the right direction.
