On Friday night, my fiancée and I went and saw Nick Swardson at The Moore. He was hilarious as always (even some of his rehashed material had me laughing), and mentioned that they're actually working on a sequel to Grandma's Boy (it's gonna be the best thing that anyone has ever seen!).

Tonight, out of total boredom, I decided to watch John From Cincinnati, not really expecting much. I'm came out of it pleasantly surprised. As a well-documented Deadwood fan, the show was eerily yet welcomely familiar to me (for obvious reasons). Some of the dialog felt like it was right out of Deadwood, like "...that's the tumor's symptom." All the bad words being thrown around might have had something to do with it, too.

Then, to end the night, I watched John Tucker Must Die, mostly because Jenny McCarthy is in it, and to my surprise it wasn't half bad. It's one of those movies where you kind of take it for what it is. Plus, watching it in HD doesn't hurt either.

Now it's getting close to 2am, so I'm off to bed. I'm looking forward to another episode of John From Cincinnati and the season premiere of Flight of the Conchords (remember when I wrote about them back in the day?) tomorrow.

'Night all.
