I'm perhaps a few days late, but I finally loaded my 4th of July pictures onto my computer and then up on my Flickr account.

Fireworks Photo on Flickr

The photos, including the one above, which were taken from our living room window, our kitchen window and our back porch can all be seen in my Fourth of July 2007 photoset.

For some other great Fourth of July photos, be sure to check out Ian's and those tagged with 'fireworks' on Flickr.

You snapped some pretty cool ones yourself. That photo looks like an army of gnats attacking with sparklers!

I gave in and ordered the new camera just moments ago. Hopefully I'll find plenty of things to photograph before Fourth of July, 2008.

Thanks, Ian. I'm looking forward to seeing what you take with your new camera. If you sign up for Flickr (or already have an account) let me know so I can stay up-to-date.

Nice photos :)

The camera arrived yesterday. Fedex thought it would be a good idea to leave the package sitting outside my apartment, so I left work early to pick it up. I snapped some photos last night and so far I love it! I just signed up for flickr (as "Gordaen" since I am unoriginal), but I'm not sure how much I will use it. I'm about halfway through a complete redesign of my main website, so I've been debating the way I want to do photos on it (using my site for a huge number of photos and flickr for my favorites, just using a flickr feed for my photos section, keeping them separate, ...).

Cool. I added you as a contact on there and subscribed to your feed, so if you do end up posting photos on there, I'll see 'em. Plus, I already subscribe to your blog's feed, so I think my bases are covered :)
